What is the Institution-Industry Cell?

The Institution-Industry Cell (IIC) at RCM is a strategic initiative mandated by AICTE to foster meaningful collaboration between academia and industry — creating a bridge between theoretical knowledge and real-world practice.
“Institute-industry interaction is required for joint research of academia with industry and for talent and potential of the institute.” — AICTE APH 2024-27, Clause 6.5.3(p)
The IIC serves as the formal institutional mechanism to systematically engage industry stakeholders in academic processes — from curriculum design to live project execution, internship facilitation to faculty development programs.
