Cricket Mania @ RCM
The RCM Sports Club organized a cricket tournament named RCM Cricket Mania on 9th Aug 2019. Chairman Dr. Prabir Pal and Principal Dr Priti Ranjan Majhi played a few strokes in the beginning to give a boost to the cricket tournament followed by a preliminary match played between a team of RCM Faculty v/s a team of non–teaching staff. It was an exciting thriller series of cricket matches followed by matches between different teams of students belonging to different streams of RCM..
The matches were held between students of the respective departments BBA 3rd year 2017-20 batch v/s BBA 2nd year 2018-21 (1st semifinal); MBA 2nd year 2018-20 batch v/s PGDM 1st year 2019-20 batch(2nd semifinal); Final match –PGDM 1st year v/s BBA 3rd year.
The winner of the Tournament was PGDM 1st year 2019-21 batch while BBA 3rd year won the trophy for the first runner-up team. The fact that there were some state players among the students actually raised the bar of the games. The audience was privileged and cheered to see some marvelous stroke play and display of professionalism by the cricketers. The event was a huge success showcasing the talented youth of RCM.
