OJEE Counselling 2022: Complete Process

The complete step-by-step approach for OJEE 2022 counselling is provided here. It will assist candidates from the start of the counselling process to the end.

Step 1: Registration

To start the OJEE 2022 counselling process, aspirants must first go to the official OJEE website and register. Candidates will be required to choose a suitable course during the procedure before providing their application number and date of birth. The candidates are not allowed to share any of the data collected at this stage with anyone.

Step 2: Completing an online form

Candidates will next be required to input other details, like their rank, mobile number, email address, etc. Candidates will receive an OTP on their mobile device or email address during this phase for verification purposes.

Thus, in order to prevent any type of obstruction in the flow of communication from the authorities, candidates are urged to submit their current email address or mobile number.

The candidate must next generate a password and double-check it. The candidates must maintain the password’s secrecy in order to advance to the next phase.

 Step 3: Details Verification

The candidate has the ability to check the information they provided during the registration process at this step. Candidates can easily change the required information by clicking the “Edit” button if they believe they entered incorrect information.

Verify the accuracy of all the information you submitted before confirming registration. A copy of the completed registration form that will be needed throughout the document verification procedure must be kept by the candidates.

Step 4: Counselling Process Fee Payment

The candidates must sign into their accounts and pay the INR 450 registration cost for counselling using one of the supported online payment options.

Step 5: Choice of Filling

The candidates must move on to the choice-filling phase after paying the registration cost. Prior to continuing, candidates must carefully read the instructions after clicking the choice filling button, which will take them to a page with instructions.

The candidates are advised to offer as many options as possible. The sequence in which the selections are filled out can also be changed by the contestants.

Candidates who qualify for the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) programme may select from institutions and branches that provide both TFW and non-TFW seats.

In the mock results, the candidates will be able to see the status of their seat allocation. Candidates may decide to change their preference and option in response to the mock result.

Following the outcome, the choice-locking process will start. The candidate must consider his or her options. Lock the selections after they have been made so that an OTP can be delivered to the user’s registered mobile number. Verify the same, then print off a copy.

Step 6: Temporary Allotment-I

The interim allocation procedure will start when the time comes, and the timetable will be posted soon on the official OJEE website.

According to the applicants’ choices, their position will either stay the same or they might get promoted to upper choice in the following rounds of allocation. Candidates who were unsuccessful in getting a seat in this round must wait until the following rounds of allotment.

A candidate must go to the nodal centre to withdraw from the OJEE 2022 counselling process in the event that they wish to do so. The candidate will receive a refund for the money that was paid as part of the admission fee.

The next round(s) of the seat allocation process would not take into account any candidates who withdrew from the OJEE 2023 counselling process and did not freeze their allotment.

Step 7: Payment of the Admission Fee

Before going to the nodal centres for document verification, candidates who want to move forward with the counselling procedure must deposit a portion of their admission cost.

The amount that candidates must deposit varies according to their category (General Category: INR 10,000/- and SC/ST/PWD: INR 5000/-).

Candidates will be eliminated from the race for seat allocation, and the seats assigned will be cancelled if they do not pay the admission price. During the document verification process, the candidates must present a receipt for the fee that has been deposited as proof.

Only if the applicants show up at their individual nodal centres within the allotted time frame and submit an application for the withdrawal process will they be permitted to withdraw from the admissions process. Such applicants will receive a full refund of their entry price, for which they must provide their banking information.

Step 8: Temporary Allotment-II

According to the timetable that will shortly be announced on the official OJEE website, the Temporary Allotment-II will start on the specified day.

Candidates who did not receive a seat in the previous round will have one assigned to them depending on their rank, the number of seats available, and the category of candidates.

Candidates who don’t get a place in this round must wait until the final allocation procedure. Candidates who withdrew from the procedure after the temporary allotment stage will be eligible to get a place in the final round through the upgrading process.

Step 9: Final Allotment

Along with certain newly allocated applicants, seats will be given to candidates who chose the upgrading process. On the OJEE official website, you can see the results of the final allotment procedure. The final allotment letter is now available for download for all candidates.
