Role of training in PGDM for risk management

The key to making students ready for the corporate world requires a framework for engagement, attitude, actions, behavior, and perception. RCM knows that training and practical knowledge are necessary for PGDM students.

Other than curriculum we have added a lot of practice and training classes to give a short snip regarding the culture and the world of the real world. Every employee of an organization is equally responsible for risk management. In each role, sometimes things get worse and at that time employees must manage by using the skills of risk management.

Effective risk management is the backbone for all successful and leading companies but when it comes to the process of training most companies do not want to invest in every role. That’s why RCM has implemented risk management training to instruct them to bring a better tomorrow. There are many reasons for the risk management training. Let’s discuss some of them:

  1. Internal Control:  Risk is of many types, but the most important is controlling internal risk. The training helps to understand the skeleton of the department and the culture of the work process. This covers the soft control and the hard control depending on the types of objectives. Training reduces the risk part, aware of activities and expectations as well as how to make the performance better as per the requirement of the department.
  2. Commitment: working in the corporate world is not easy and sometimes freshers leave the job just because they are not able to meet the goals. For building the commitment characteristic, we give the training to give an introduction about the work so that they will be able to stick to companies and understand the importance of commitment. It will increase staff retention and job satisfaction because employees feel getting the right response from their companies.
  3. Develop skills: When a newcomer starts working in a company, the job responsibilities are defined as per the role but after some time expectations and responsibilities become higher. To be dynamic, one should understand as well as be upskilled for other works. A very beneficial perspective of undertaking training for risk management is that you will be able to understand the work from the very first day and know how to manage various work timely.

Getting good training helps students to become efficient employees and ready for any turbulences during their work.

It also helps in understanding the techniques and tools to be able to manage risk practically, in any case of their role in department and business. Overall, It prepares them for any uncertainty for the future in the company.

4. Boost confidence: training will improve the workforce efficiency and quality. When someone works so dedicatedly and gets good results, the confidence automatically boosts. This helps to do experient in work to be more effective. The knowledge gained by training can be used in the practical atmosphere during work.

5. A Better understanding of consequences: When a person is working in a company, they should be known of many consequences but many of them are really unaware of that. For helping the students for future we initiate training which gives the lessons of the practical atmosphere of companies. Getting such training will give a better understanding of the consequences.

Conclusion:

We need to adapt the new learning and teaching methodologies including the practical’s and training  for being more efficient to help the students for hitting the ground.
