We’ve set the stage. Step up.
Every generation faces a defining moment — a pressure point where we test, shape, and transform raw potential. For thousands of students across India, that moment arrives every year at one address: Regional College of Management, Bhubaneswar.
From April 7 to April 11, 2026, RCM will once again open its gates for Brahmastra 2026 — Odisha’s most ambitious inter-collegiate B-Fest. Forty-two events. Five days. Five thematic arenas. One singular purpose: to build the leaders that India actually needs. This is not a college festival in the conventional sense. This is a proving ground.
What Is Brahmastra?
Brahmastra is the flagship annual B-Fest of Regional College of Management (RCM), Bhubaneswar — the oldest management institution in Odisha, with over four decades of academic and professional legacy. What started as a campus celebration has grown into one of the most intensely competitive and creatively ambitious collegiate events in eastern India.
In 2026, Brahmastra returns bigger, bolder, and more purposeful than any previous edition. Students, corporate executives, faculty members, and industry observers from across India will descend on the RCM campus for five days of high-stakes simulations, cultural performances, culinary battles, sports showdowns, and technology innovation.
The name itself carries weight. We deliberately invoke Brahmastra — the ultimate weapon in Indian epic tradition. Because what this festival does is arm students not with theory, but with experience.

Five Arenas, One Battle
We draw the architecture of Brahmastra 2026 from India’s rich epic tradition, and each arena reflects the spirit of its challenges.
Kurukshetra — The Sports Arena
The battlefield of ancient legend becomes the ground for athletic competition in 2026. Kurukshetra hosts a full slate of sports tournaments where students compete not just for medals, but for the discipline and resilience that sport alone can teach. Because great leaders have always understood what it means to play under pressure.
Chakravyuh — The Business Arena
We name Chakravyuh after the complex military formation that only the most strategic minds could enter and survive, making it the intellectual heart of Brahmastra. This is where the sharpest business minds in the country face off in management simulations, case study competitions, and strategy games. Events like Crisis Management, Mock Press Meet, Stock Trading Simulation, Business Quiz, and the Startup Challenge demand real thinking, real strategy, and real stakes.
Corporate judges evaluate every round. The exposure is professional-grade. The lessons are permanent.
Brahmotsav — The Cultural Arena
Culture is not an afterthought at Brahmastra — it is a pillar. Brahmotsav celebrates the full creative range of student talent: Dance, Music, Ramp Walk, Drama, and more. In a world that increasingly demands emotionally intelligent and culturally aware professionals, we develop and celebrate that side of leadership at Brahmotsav.
Paakshala — The Food Entrepreneurship Lab
Perhaps the most unique feature of Brahmastra 2026, Paakshala is a live, student-run food court that functions as a fully operational business lab. Participants do not simply cook food — they conceptualize menus, build budgets, develop brand identities, market their stalls, and manage operations in real time during the festival.
At Paakshala, each stall operates like a startup. Every decision carries real consequences, and every rupee earned or lost teaches a lesson no classroom can replicate.
Paakshala represents exactly what makes Brahmastra philosophically different from other college fests — the belief that the best business education happens when the stakes are real.
Drona — The Corporate and Faculty Track
In a thoughtful gesture that sets Brahmastra apart from nearly every other college festival in the country, Brahmastra 2026 includes Drona — a dedicated track for corporate executives and faculty members. Named after the legendary mentor of the Mahabharata, Drona acknowledges that learning is not exclusive to students, and that a truly great institution continues to challenge even those who have already arrived.
Hackforge 2.0 — In Collaboration with Google Developer Group, Bhubaneswar
We organize Hackforge 2.0 as a high-intensity hackathon in direct collaboration with Google Developer Group (GDG) Bhubaneswar. Through this partnership, we combine RCM’s four-decade leadership tradition with GDG’s global developer ecosystem — and challenge you with a single question: what can you build when the pressure is real and the clock is running?
We don’t treat Hackforge 2.0 as a theoretical exercise. We challenge participants to develop functional solutions to real-world problems within strict time constraints, while industry experts evaluate their work. Here, we don’t discuss innovation — we solve for it.
For students at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and impact, we position Hackforge 2.0 as the defining event of the 2026 edition.
42 Events Across 5 Days — The Full Scale of Brahmastra 2026
The numbers alone tell a compelling story. Forty-two events unfolding simultaneously across five days means that at almost any hour, on almost any part of the RCM campus, something significant is happening. A team is making a high-pressure business decision. A performer is stepping onto a stage at Brahmotsav. A food entrepreneur at Paakshala is facing their first real customer. A developer is pushing a commit that might just be the winning solution.
A sample of the events that will define Brahmastra 2026:
Crisis Management, Mock Press Meet, Stock Trading Simulation, Ad-Mad Show, Business Quiz, Startup Challenge, Street Entrepreneurship, Dance Competition, Music Performance, Ramp Walk, Hackforge 2.0 in collaboration with GDG Bhubaneswar, Culinary Entrepreneurship via Paakshala, Sports Tournaments at Kurukshetra, and Corporate Faculty Events at Drona.
Participation is open to students from colleges and universities across Odisha and beyond. Every year, Brahmastra draws participants from institutions across India — a testament to the reputation it has built.
Why Brahmastra Matters — The Bigger Picture
It would be easy to describe Brahmastra 2026 as a college festival. But that description would miss the point.
We founded RCM with a simple belief: professional learning goes beyond lectures and exams. Instead of relying on textbooks, we shape the leaders India needs — people who handle uncertainty, make decisions under pressure, communicate clearly, and create lasting impact — through real experiences.
These experiences take many forms. You might stand before a panel of corporate judges at Chakravyuh, defending a business strategy you built in just forty-eight hours. You might launch a food stall at Paakshala and watch it succeed or fail in real time. Or you might find yourself writing code at 2 AM, driven by a tough problem and a real deadline.
Brahmastra is four decades of that philosophy in action. It is the annual proof that RCM does not just prepare students for the workplace — it gives them a taste of it, long before they get there.
Senior industry voices are present throughout the festival — not as distant observers, but as active judges, mentors, and evaluators. The exposure this creates is genuine. The standards are professional. The feedback is the kind that changes the trajectory of a career.
