The Department of Higher Education requested a thorough report on the infrastructure present at all degree-granting universities and Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) in a letter sent to them on Wednesday.
In her letter, Joint Secretary to the government of Odisha, Snigdha Chamaptiray said the objective behind seeking such a report is to enhance the campus environment and overall learning experience.
โThe primary objective of the assessment is to gain a thorough understanding of the current state of physical facilities available at the institutions, improvements required, potential challenges, and opportunities that can help to strategically plan for the enhancement of our campus environment and overall learning experience for students all over the State,โ read the letter.
โIn view of the above, we request you and the governing body/management committee of the institute to assess the college’s available infrastructure and basic requirements (if any) and submit the information in the Google Sheet format. We will share the sheet with your college email ID shortly for further necessary action.โ
The letter instructs principals of degree colleges and TEIs to submit complete information. They must complete the Google Sheet by August 14.
