Rise and Roast is a platform for comedians to deliver hilarious and thought-provoking performances through stand-up comedy.
Participants entertain audiences with original material that may include observational humor, storytelling, satire, and witty commentary on everyday life.
The event evaluates comic timing, audience engagement, originality, and stage confidence, making it a memorable showcase of humor and creativity.
Rules & Regulations Follow the rules, steal the spotlight.
- Preliminary Round: Participants must submit a 2-minute video of their comedy; only the top 10 performers based on reach and quality will be shortlisted.
- Main Event: Selected finalists will be invited to RCM to perform a complete 5-minute set on stage.
- Content Standards: Performances must strictly exclude hate speech, personal attacks, or vulgarity; all content must remain within the bounds of healthy humor.
- Judging Criteria: Contestants will be evaluated on comedic timing, originality of material, and audience response.
- Finality: Any inappropriate activity or exceeding the time limit may result in penalties, and the judges’ decision is final..
