CYPHER Cypher – Freestyle Dance Battle
Cypher is one of the most thrilling events of Brahmotsav, inspired by the culture of street dance battles. In this electrifying freestyle competition, dancers step into an open dance circle where improvisation and individuality take center stage.
Participants face off in head-to-head rounds, responding to live music played by the DJ. With every beat, dancers push the boundaries of creativity, showcasing spontaneous moves, rhythm mastery, and personal style.
The atmosphere of Cypher is raw, intense, and energetic, as dancers challenge one another with bold performances while the audience fuels the excitement with cheers and applause. It is a celebration of freestyle artistry, quick thinking, and fearless expression.
Rules & Regulations Follow the rules, steal the spotlight.
- Format & Duration: The competition consists of an Individual Freestyle format with a 1-2 minute first round and a 2-3 minute final round.
- Audio: Music will be provided by the organizers; participants are not permitted to use their own tracks.
- Performance Standards: All artistic styles are welcome; however, the use of vulgarity or dangerous props is strictly prohibited.
- Judging Criteria: Contestants are evaluated on creativity, musicality, expression, and stage presence.
- Finality: Exceeding the allotted time may result in penalties, and the judges’ decision is final and binding.
