The Anti-Ragging Committee is committed to maintaining a safe, disciplined, and respectful campus environment. The committee actively works to prevent ragging through awareness programs, strict monitoring, and prompt action against any misconduct. By promoting mutual respect and student well-being, the institution ensures a secure and positive academic atmosphere for every learner.

About Anti-Ragging Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee at Regional College of Management (RCM) is dedicated to maintaining a ragging-free campus environment. It is committed to empowering and enlightening students about the harmful effects of ragging — both on individuals and on the institution’s credibility — and ensures the following actions are implemented immediately.

  • Organize Awareness Lectures:
    Arrange sessions to educate students on anti-ragging rules and regulations.
  • Complaint Handling: Address all complaints received through the complaint register or other channels.
  • Advisory to Anti-Ragging Squad:
    Advise the Anti-Ragging Squad to regularly visit sensitive areas like hostels, canteens, libraries, and playgrounds.
  • Display Banners and Boards: Ensure the display of banners and boards across the campus to raise awareness among students.
  • Information Publications:
    Include anti-ragging information in brochures, handbooks, and other publications.
  • Show AICTE Anti-Ragging Videos:
    Enlighten students with AICTE’s anti-ragging videos during institute-organized events.
  • Communication with Parents:
    Inform parents of first-year students about anti-ragging rules and the consequences of violations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Arrange lectures to create awareness about anti-ragging rules and regulations among students and staff.

Address complaints received through the complaint register or any other mode of communication

Advise the Anti-Ragging Squad to frequently visit hostels, canteen, library, playground and other campus areas.

Ensure proper display of banners, boards, and notices across the campus premises at all times.

Publish brochures and handbooks for students and parents containing anti-ragging guidelines and helpline details.

Educate students using official AICTE anti-ragging awareness videos during orientation and throughout the year.

Communicate anti-ragging instructions and guidelines clearly to parents and guardians of all enrolled students.

Ensure immediate enforcement of anti-ragging measures upon any report or indication of ragging activity.
