Bhubaneswar: In the MBA and MCA categories of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE), 2022, the top spots were earned by Shradharabinda Samantray and Ishant Kumar Nayak, respectively. The result was declared on Wednesday.
Similarly, Arup Kumar was the topper in B Pharm while Sachin Nayak secured first position in M Pharm. Sanjeev Pradhan secured first in M.Tech (Civil Engineering). Pankaj Kumar and Ranjan Mohapatra were top in M.Tech (Electronics) and M.Tech (Mechanical).
Meanwhile, Odishaโs Minister of Skill Development and Technical Education Department, P.R. Ghadai, officially declared the results of OJEE โ 2022 and subsequently released the results booklet.
“The minister said the authorities conducted OJEE from July 4 to July 8 this year, following all necessary safety precautions as per the applicable COVID guidelines.”
The OJEE was held for various technical/professional courses. This included B.Phram, LE-Tech. (Dip), LE-Tech. (B.Sc.), B CAT (2 streams), MBA, MCA, Int. MBA, LE-Pharm, M Pharm, and M Arch. It also included M Plan and M Tech (11 specializations). These courses are running in different government and private institutes/universities of the state for the academic year 2022-23.
The authorities conducted OJEE in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all the courses and set up test centers in all 30 districts of the state. There were a total of 61 test centres in 30 cities of the state. Additionally, there were four centers in three cities outside Odisha, in Kolkata, Ranchi, and Patna.ย
A total of 57,898 individuals enrolled for the exam this year. Of those, 47,761 candidates (82.5 %) appeared in the test.
A total of 47,729 candidates have been allotted ranks in their corresponding course as per their performance in the examination. The minister added that candidates can download their rank cards from the OJEE website (www.ojee.nic.in).
All ranked candidates can participate in OJEE counseling. Moreover, this is for admission to various technical and professional courses in government and private colleges/institutes across Odisha. Institutes will consider candidates for admission based on their rank and other qualifying criteria. Furthermore, official sources confirmed that the OJEE counseling registration and choice-filling process for 2022 will commence on the official website on August 10, 2022.
