The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2021 was successfully conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from September 6 to September 18, 2021, after being postponed from June due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each exam lasted 2 hours and was held in three daily shifts.
Following the exam, the OJEE 2021 result was declared on September 29, 2021 by the Joint Entrance Examination Committee (OJEE). Candidates can check their OJEE result, rank card, and merit list by visiting the official website – ojee.nic.in.
OJEE 2021 Result Highlights
- A total of 49,360 candidates registered for the exam.
- Out of these, 49,279 candidates were allotted ranks across their respective courses.
- The rank card is available online and can be accessed by entering the application number and date of birth.
- The result will be used for admission into various programs under the Odisha Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission & Fixation of Fee) Act, 2007.
OJEE 2021 Exam Centres Expanded
To ensure safety and accessibility during the pandemic, OJEE added 12 new exam centres.
Odisha Centres:
Nabarangpur, Bhawanipatna, Boudh, Deogarh, Nuapada, Puri, Sonepur, Malkangiri, Kendrapara
Outside Odisha:
Patna (Bihar), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Kolkata (West Bengal)
As a result of this expansion, the total number of centres increased to 30. Consequently, the OJEE Computer-Based Test became more convenient for candidates.
OJEE 2021 Exam Eligibility
- Undergraduate Programs: Must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board.
- Postgraduate Programs: Must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Lateral Entry: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream.
OJEE 2021 MBA Exam Pattern
The OJEE MBA test included 120 questions from four sections:
- Verbal Reasoning & Comprehension
- Quantitative Techniques
- Analytical & Logical Reasoning
- General Knowledge & Business Fundamentals
OJEE 2021 Counselling Process
The Skill Development and Technical Education Department, Government of Odisha, conducts the online counselling process that candidates must join after the OJEE 2021 result declaration. The counselling includes:
