The training session on Personality Development by Ms. Roopshree Surana, a leading performance coach and corporate behavioral trainer of the state, was held on 22nd Oct 2019 in RCM premises from 10:00 a.m. โ€“ 6:00 p.m. This event highlighted the benefits of Personality Development Classes for personal and professional growth. Many attendees found that Personality Development Classes significantly enhanced their skills.

This session aimed to share tips and guidelines on image management for students, including specific training on professional etiquette. Ms. Surana discussed every minute detail, from dressing for a job interview to professionally dealing with people. Attending Personality Development Classes often covers such important topics.

She also emphasized the basics of business communication skills to help students understand how to present themselves confidently. It was an informative session where students learned how things work in the corporate sector. It was a one-day training program for management students of all streams, providing a checklist of professional doโ€™s and donโ€™ts. Furthermore, attending an online personal development course can also be beneficial, similar to Personality Development Classes, for students looking to enhance their professional presence.

Training Session On Basics Of Communication– By Jasobant Narayan Singhlal

Mr. Jasobant Narayan Singhlal, an eminent soft-skills trainer and performance enhancer, was on campus. He came to give management students special tips. His session echoed the subjects covered in Personality Development Classes by focusing on effective communication skills for students entering the corporate world.

This session was held on 7th Sept 2019 at RCM Auditorium from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. It aimed to give a basic idea to students regarding writing business emails and effective communication. The session focused on communication at different management levels in the corporate sector. It was a real eyeโ€“opener for students before stepping into the competitive professional world. Just like in Personality Development Classes, free online courses on communication skills can also provide similar insights for students seeking further learning opportunities.

Mr. Jasobant also spoke on the seven virtues of leadership to help students transform into professionals who can stand out in a crowd. Apart from learning the basics of interpersonal relationships and communication, the session included several activities and guidelines for building self-confidence in students. Personality Development Classes often include such comprehensive training.

Jasobant said, โ€œCriticism, instead of demotivating, should be accepted and provide improvement inspiration. Personality development courses help in building such positive attitudes.โ€ This will give a boost to oneโ€™s personal growth and allow one to start believing in oneselfโ€”the first and surest step for a successful future.

His encouraging words made the students realize that making mistakes is good, as we always learn from them. The session was followed by group activities and a warm-up dance session for the students. Overall, it was a great learning experience for students who both enjoyed and benefitted immensely from this unique opportunity.

A seminar on โ€Recent Trends in HRMโ€ was held on 12th Sept 2019 from 3:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. in RCM premises as part of HR Club Activity for Management students. The Chief Speaker Dr. Suvendu Das, Managing Director, Hiteisee Consulting Services, gave a detailed presentation with insight into the recent developments in HRM and the required skill set for a job profile in the field of HRM.

He emphasized that students must understand the need to keep updating their knowledge skills if they want to crack a job interview on the first go. He spoke about the necessary attributes a candidate should have to grab the opportunity by creating a good impression on the recruiters. Many such crucial skills are often developed through Personality Development Classes.

Mr. Das elaborated on the difference between hard skills and soft skills in job selection criteria. He explained that acquiring hard skills, which involve knowledge and training about hardware and software, can be easy. However, acquiring the required set of public speaking and interpersonal relationship skills for job selection is a bigger challenge. Personality Development Classes usually cover these topics, helping to bridge this gap.

This is because if we do not change our mindset to adapt, facing upcoming challenges becomes difficult in todayโ€™s competitive world. Stress management is also an important factor that students need to consider maintaining a balanced professional life. So, we should always follow the principle of โ€˜Survival of the fittestโ€™ and groom ourselves accordingly.

Overall, the Seminar was very productive in allowing students to be aware of current trends in the job market. Teachers encouraged students to explore search engine tools to stay updated with the latest industry insights and skill requirements. Personality Development Classes can provide a similar boost to a student’s readiness for the job market.
