The Centre Will Establish A Board To Promote Vedic Education!

In a special announcement, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the establishment of a special Vedic Education Board to ensure the relevance of Vedic recitation in modern civilization.

An initiative to promote Vedic education across the country may be launched shortly. The Union Education Ministry will acknowledge the Veda-based education board, which will function similarly to any other education board. Sanskrit language and mathematics experts will also be part of the process.

Though there is currently no degree-level programme on Vedic education, the ministry is committed to equipping students with Vedic education and Veda-based information. In light of this, the government is considering integrating the Vedic system with modern education, and the process of establishing a specialised education board has begun. A separate Vedic education board will be established under the National Education Policy (NEP) to ensure the relevance of Vedic literature in modern culture. In a special announcement, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the establishment of a special Vedic Education Board to ensure the relevance of Vedic recitation in modern culture. The Education Ministry believes that the Vedas are the foundation of Indian culture.

As per the ministry, the government has decided to build five Veda Vidyapeeths led by Maharishi Sandipani Pratishthan at the ‘Char Dhams’ and Kamakhya Devi’s site in order to make the Vedas a matter of public practice with study. Ved Shankar Lal Chaturvedi, a Veda Vidya partner, stated that under the NEP, Veda education may play a critical role in advancing Indian traditional knowledge. Veda education is not a religious topic, but it does contain the knowledge and science of leading a better life. According to Chaturvedi, understanding of the Vedas may benefit all segments of society. A contemporary example of this is Vedic mathematics. Almost all of society’s pupils are receiving the advantage of Vedic mathematics. Simultaneously, a few reputable institutes provide Veda instruction to students. The Maharishi Sandipani Rastriya Vedavidya Pratishthan educates around 6,000 students across the country in order to retain the relevance of Vedic recitation in modern culture and to preserve and promote the Vedas.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently mentioned Vedic Mathematics on the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ show. It is worth noting that the Prime Minister stated during the show, “Mathematics should not be a challenge but an easy topic for the people of India, who made the world aware of the most essential rules of mathematics.” If we educate our children in Vedic math, they will lose their dread of arithmetic. ”

The ministry intends for the country’s youngsters to be led by India’s rich mathematical traditions, which have been developed by mathematicians such as Acharya Pingala, Acharya Aryabhatta, Ramanujan, and former Puri Jagadguru Swami Bharatikrishna Tirtha Maharaj. The Prime Minister stated on the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme, “Vedic Maths can even tackle complex scientific difficulties.” I would like all parents to teach their children Vedic Math. ” The well-known Sanskrit Vedic educationist, Hemnagar Koti, concurred with the Prime Minister’s comments. He claims that mastering Vedic Math will boost students’ confidence as well as their analytical abilities.
