The Career Development activity starts from the first year itself for MBA, PGDM & BBA by a team of Placement Trainers and Faculty members. Life Skills Development classes
As a part of Life Skills Development, the students are trained in various fields of personality development and communicational skills. The students are given training in a spell of four / six semester’s right from the first year onwards. The trainings are given in Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Personality Development and HR interviews.
All students are encouraged to attend the training programs for an enhanced performance in the campus interviews. We hand hold our students through career guidance; through motivational activities and counselling, through knowledge sharing activities and through various capacity building measures. The trainees are closely monitored for improvements and gauged through several practice sets and

Placement in RCM
Regional College of Management (RCM) has achieved the successful completion of placements for the year 2018-19 with 94% for the MBA and PGDM batch of 2017-2019. Despite the booming competition, the students have performed admirably, accumulating roles from numerous premier organizations. According to RCM, the industry has yet again made renewed commitment our students by offering diverse profiles.
Final placements happen during the last term. A formidable array of the best companies in India and the world visit the campus year after year searching for the best talent. Having reached key positions in top corporate worldwide and contributing at all levels in various global conglomerates, the Institute’s alumni form a sustainable competitive advantage for the organizations that recruit them. Over the years, the market for the Institute’s graduates has remained bullish, as freshly placed recruits continue to deliver on their promises.
Counselling or Mentoring within Training and Placement Cell
The Academic and Personal Counselling Department along with the faculty members guides the students, within the Training and Placement Cell, to channelize their career path. All the students are provided with such counselling by the teachers or mentors or counsellors of various departments regarding their academic progress as well as their future prospective.
The T and P cell is also engaged in disseminating information about different job opportunities and self-employment in Government and Non- Government organizations. The role of the cell is as follows:
- To collect information about suitable jobs from publications like “Employment News” etc.
- To publish important details of jobs advertised.
- To offer career-counselling to students.
- To help the job seekers with tips for success in screening- cum-personality tests.
- To organize seminar on career counselling.
- To promote entrepreneurship among those with potential.
Each Faculty acts as a mentor for 10 students. The faculty members of various departments are vigilant and keep a constant eye on the need for students who find it difficult to cope with the curriculum. In order to identify weaknesses, faculty members regularly take class-tests, evaluate the level of achievement and hold remedial classes (Tutorial classes).
A record of these activities is kept in the Attendance Register to check and monitor the academic growth of the students. Besides that, for providing better & effective academic facilities, the mentor advises the students to develop professional interests and set realistic career goals.
The Mentoring System at RCM provides an effective mechanism for the academic and professional growth of its students.

To accomplish the goal, a dedicated team is working throughout the academic sessions along with the support of faculty members of the college. RCM has sufficient infrastructure facilities like conference room and seminar hall equipped with projectors, desktop systems and laptops to ensure that students get maximum benefit. The students have been recruited by some of the leading corporate houses. All efforts are being made by the concerned department to develop good industry-institute interface, to provide efficient manpower to the corporate. The students are trained to develop business communication and managerial skills as per industry requirements.
