What is the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)?
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a strategic unit established within an institution as per the guidelines of NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) to ensure continuous improvement in all aspects of academic and administrative performance.
It functions as a quality catalyst, fostering a culture of excellence by:
- Ensures consistent improvement in academic and administrative activities.
- Acts as a central body to coordinate quality-related efforts and initiatives.
- Promotes a culture of quality through innovation and best practices.
- Sets performance benchmarks and monitors progress regularly.
- Supports transparency, accountability, and strategic planning.
- Aligns institutional practices with standards prescribed by bodies like NAAC, UGC, and AICTE.
IQAC acts as the backbone of the institution’s internal quality system, ensuring that every action contributes to the overall growth, credibility, and sustainability of the institution.
