On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the need to connect education to current ideas of the twenty-first century.ย
Speaking at the opening session of the three-day Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam there, he stated that the main goal of the national education policy (NEP) was to take education out of the restricted thought process and merge it with future concepts and ideas.
The Prime Minister says that in order to prepare the country for future difficulties, we should not only develop degree holders but also human resources.ย
He stated that “I am sure that soon India will emerge as a global hub for education.” To this end, we are creating world-class institutes that will help in creating opportunities for the youth. We are making sure that NEP is not just another document in the files, but a roadmap that guides our education system.ย ย
He added that everyone now has access to previously limited regions and opportunities. Many disadvantaged populations are now experiencing extraordinary opportunities. We hope to generate employers through the National Educational Policy (NEP), he continued.
The Prime Minister stated that it is the responsibility of the education system and the youth to realize Amrut Mahotsav’s ambitions.
He said that not only did India recover rapidly from the COVID pandemic, but it also became one of the fastest-growing large economies in the world. “We are the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem now,” he stated. Earlier, welcoming the guests, the Prime Minister said, “I am the MP of Varanasi, and in that sense, I am your host, and you are my guests.” I am sure that you will not have any inconvenience during your stay. ”ย
The Prime Minister launched the Akshaya Patra mid-day meal kitchen, which will serve hygienically prepared meals to lakhs of children at once. He also launched various development initiatives in his district.
