OJEE exams will be conducted from 6 September to 18 September.
Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee has announced the dates for conducting the OJEE 2021 exams. The papers will be held from 6 September to 18 September. As per the guidelines issued by administration, the appearing candidates needs to assemble to their given OJEE exam centres with one photo ID along with the admit card. The mode of OJEE 2021 will be Computer-based-test (CBT), 3 shifts on each day. The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours. OJEE was supposed to be held in June but due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, it was postponed. In 2021, 12 more exam centres were added, out of these 9 centres are from Odisha and 3 are from West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar. Now they total have 30 centres to organize and manage exams properly during covid. The newly added examination centres for OJEE 2021 are Nabrangpur, Bhawanipatana, Boudh, Deogarh, Nuapada, Puri, Saharanpur, Malkangiri, Kendrapara from the Odisha state. While, Patna, Ranchi and Kolkata have also been added as centres from other states.
About OJEE
OJEE is a state-level examination which is conducted for several courses proposed by Government and private engineering, management, and medical colleges in Odisha. For MBA students the paper would have 4 sections and 120 questions. The questions will be of Verbal Reasoning and Comprehension, Quantitative Techniques, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Business Fundamentals. The administration has issued separate forms for submission to different programmes. Form A is for the B Pharmacy and Integrated MBA programme, Form B is for B Tech or B Pharma, Form C is for MBA and MCA, Form D is for MArch, MTech, MPlan and MPharma and Form E is for different combined courses such as PGAT, MBA and MCA.
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for OJEE vary for different undergraduate and post-graduate courses. Listed below are the minimum eligibility criteria for OJEE 2021:
- Candidate must have completed Class 12 from a recognized board for admission to undergraduate courses
- Candidate must have a bachelors’ degree or equivalent from a recognized university in a relevant discipline
- Candidate must have completed a diploma or bachelors’ degree from a relevant stream to apply for lateral entry courses
