Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2020 Cell had decided to add new exam centres in and outside the state of Odisha. This decision was made in lieu of the pandemic. A total of 6 new exam centres were opened for candidates in Odisha and 3 new centres outside Odisha.
The authorities had, for the first time, opened the window for change by making the decision for opening new exam centres for OJEE. The new centres that opened outside Odisha were in Patna, Ranchi, and Kolkata and inside Odisha is Balangir, Paralakhemundi, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Nayagarh, and Phulbani.
OJEE Chairman S.K. Chand, speaking to Times of India, said, “No OJEE exam centres were opened outside the state since 2014.”
