The NEET (UG) results will now be utilised to identify female applicants for admission to the B.Sc. (Nursing) programme at the Armed Forces Medical Services Nursing Colleges in 2022. (AFMS)
The deadline for submitting online applications for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) – 2022 has been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the entrance exam to select applicants for undergraduate medical studies at all medical institutions.
According to the most recent NTA circular, the timeframe for accepting application forms has been extended until May 15, 2022. Candidates can also submit their application fee till May 15, 2022.
According to the NTA, the deadline has been extended after the Director-General of the Armed Forces Medical Services opted to use NEET (UG) results to choose female applicants for admission to the B.Sc. (Nursing) programme in 2022 at the Armed Forces Medical Services nursing institutes (AFMS).
The NEET-UG results will be used for admission at the following colleges: College of Nursing, AFMC Pune, College of Nursing, CH (EC) Kolkata, College of Nursing, INHS Asvini, Mumbai, College of Nursing, AH (R & R) New Delhi, College of Nursing, CH (CC) Lucknow, and College of Nursing, CH (AF) Bangalore.
The NTA circular stated that “Those candidates who wish to take admission to the abovementioned colleges’ B.Sc. (Nursing) Course 2022 also need to apply for NEET (UG) – 2022 online through the website https://neet.nta.nic.in.”
“In light of the foregoing, the window for all applicants to submit online applications for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) – 2022 has been extended,” the circular stated.
