Reach Out for Support

RCM has a centralized communication and grievance redressal system to provide confidential, timely, and fair resolution of complaints.

All guidelines and procedures under the POSH Act, 2013 are accessible online through the Internal Committee (IC) of RCM, and regular training, awareness, and sensitization programs are conducted to ensure compliance with the law, while the confidentiality and safety of complainants remain a top priority in creating a safe and inclusive campus.

RCM’s Commitment to a Safe Campus

The Internal Committee (IC) works actively to:
  • Prevent and redress sexual harassment.
  • Spread awareness about gender equality and inclusivity.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere for all.
  • Promote fairness, confidentiality, and well-being of the RCM community.
We encourage students, faculty, and staff to reach out to the IC and be active partners in building a respectful and inclusive campus culture.

Modalities for Addressing Complaints:
Upon receiving a complaint, the ICC will conduct a preliminary inquiry by gathering evidence and taking statements from all relevant parties, including witnesses. The committee will then submit a report to the Director or Disciplinary Authority for further action. If the complaint is found not to constitute sexual harassment, it may be referred to the Grievance Redressal Cell or the Director.

If sexual harassment is caused by a third party or outsider, the ICC will take all necessary measures to assist and support the affected individual in accordance with the law.
The ICC will ensure that all inquiries are conducted in a timely manner and in compliance with the AICTE regulations and the Sexual Harassment Act of 2013. False or malicious complaints will be dealt with as per the provisions of the AICTE regulations.

Procedure for Filing a Complaint:

  • Any female employee (faculty, student, or staff) who experiences sexual harassment can approach the ICC to seek redress. Complaints can be submitted via email to chairperson.icc@rcm.ac.in.
  • In case of sexual harassment, it is advised to reach out for immediate help, and the process will be kept confidential at all times.
