STATE-LEVEL BBA FEST
The two-day state-level inter-college B-fest “PHOENIX-2018” was organised by students of BBA from 14th-15th December 2018. The Gala event included various events and competitions like Extempore Speech, Ad Mad, Business Quiz, Chess, Talent Hunt, Magical Music & Dance, and sports events like Kabaddi and Badminton, etc.
The event was entirely organized by students under the direction and guidance of Professor Nitu Dash (head BBA) and Professor G.C. Samal and saw huge participation by students from different colleges of the state. It provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their hidden talent as well as teach them organizational skills.
International athlete Ms. Anuradha Biswal the chief guest at the inaugural session, encouraged students to follow their dreams and achieve defined goals. Social activists Ms. Namrata Chadda and internationally eminent performing artist Sri Saswat Joshi were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively at the valedictory session. Ms. Chadda said that “such events give the youth an opportunity for healthy interaction, provide exposure, and teach management skills”. Sri Saswat Joshi, a youth cultural icon regaled the young audience and set the stage on fire with his mesmerizing performance wherein students from the audience also joined in. Dr Prabir Pal, RCM expressed his delight at the huge participation of students and hoped that they would carry back wonderful experiences.
Principal Professor Dr Priti Ranjan Majhi observed that RCM acts as a platform for honing talents and providing exposure. Professor Nitu Dash (Head BBA) spoke of the importance of the sportsman’s spirit that such events teach.
Phoenix 2K18 was a huge success with the participation of more than 200 students from across the state.

Students of MBA organized a B-School Meet ANUGOONJ and an Intra – College medley of competitions called RIPPLES 2K19 on 18th – 19th, February 2019, in the RCM premises under the guidance of Professor Satyanath Mahapatra and Professor Sudhanshu Shekhar Nanda. More than 250 students from almost 40 colleges and Universities all over Orissa participated in different inter-college competitions like Talent Hunt Extempore, B Quiz, Rangoli, etc.
The highlights were the specially arranged Management games like Stock Trading, Movie Making, and Business Quiz.
The annual function of RCM RIPPLES 2019 held simultaneously houses Intra – College competitions like Badminton, Cricket, Chess, Basketball, etc. among students of different management programs like MBA PGDM BBA BCA, and MFC.
The participants of both events were awarded at the cultural function held on the 19th of February evening by TCS head Mr Manoj Kr Panda who was invited as Chief Guest. Students presented various cultural items of dance and music.
Of special attraction were the melodious singing by upcoming Odissi dancer and actress Subhashree Pani and the presence of famous Ollywood film star, Udayan Aparajit. The program was a huge success and provided a perfect platform for hundreds of students all over the state to showcase their talent
