Subrat Tripathy
Chairman, Adani Ports & SEZ
Subrat Tripathy is a seasoned professional with over 34 years of experience in the Indian government and corporate sectors, specializing in railways and port management. He has held key leadership roles, including Deputy Chairman and Chairman of Paradip Port Trust. His expertise includes port connectivity, public-private partnership (PPP) projects, and infrastructure development across sectors such as steel, fertilizer, petroleum, power, mining, and coal.
Tripathy has also undertaken international assignments in countries including Singapore, China, and Germany to study port planning and development. Beyond his role at Adani Ports, he has served as director and managing director at entities like Dhamra Port Company Limited, Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited, and Adani Hazira Port Limited.
He has contributed to landmark projects such as the redevelopment of Kumartuli Ghat in Kolkata, preserving cultural heritage while enhancing public spaces.
