The Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) registration date has been extended by the National Testing Agency until May 5, 2023. According to the UGC Chairman, the choice was made to give applicants more time to select courses and programmes from newly included universities. From May 6 to May 8, 2023, the CUET-PG rectification window will be accessible.
The Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate Programme, or CUET-PG, the registration deadline has been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA). M. Jagadesh Kumar, the UGC Chairman, reaffirmed this choice.
The new registration cutoff is May 5, 2023, at 9.50 p.m. through the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.Additionally, the CUET-PG correction window will be activated on May 6 and remain open until May 8, 2023. Students who have already submitted their applications can change or remove the tests or subjects they had selected earlier.
Further, if a student wishes to add more subjects, they can do so by selecting additional examinations, courses, universities, institutions, autonomous colleges, or organisations. However, selecting more subjects will require candidates to pay an additional cost (if applicable).
The UGC Chairman went on to say that the decision to extend the registration deadline was reached after taking into account the fact that several universities decided to take the CUET-PG exam after registration had begun. This action is intended to provide applicants ample time to select the courses and programmes they want from the newly added universities.
Candidates should be aware that once fees have been paid, they are not refundable. The portal will later make an announcement regarding the admit card and result date. Students are urged to check the official website frequently for updates on this topic.
