The RCM Hyderabad Alumni Meet 2026 brought together accomplished alumni from the MBA, PGDM, and MCA programmes for an inspiring evening of networking, leadership discussions, and shared memories. Held at the Sailing Club, Hyderabad, the event welcomed graduates representing batches from 1988 to 2015, highlighting nearly three decades of RCM’s legacy in management and technology education. Alumni who once studied together reunited to celebrate their journeys and strengthen the bonds of the ever-growing RCM community.
The event featured virtual addresses by Dr. Pritam Pal, Director of RCM Bhubaneswar, and Dr. Sanghamitra Pal, Director of RGBS, who thanked alumni for their continued support and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to delivering future-ready education. They shared RCM’s vision of building an AI-FIRST Learning Ecosystem, where innovation, industry collaboration, and emerging technologies prepare students for the evolving global workforce.
Expanding on this vision, Dr. Shradha Padhi, Additional Director of RCM, introduced the institution’s transformative PLUS Programme, which combines industry certifications, experiential learning, global exposure, and competency-based learning with academic excellence. Her presentation highlighted how RCM is equipping students with practical skills that meet the expectations of today’s employers, while encouraging alumni to actively participate as mentors and industry partners.
The keynote address by Mr. Vivek Vidyarthi, Vice President – Strategy at JP Morgan, offered valuable insights into leadership, innovation, adaptability, and continuous learning. Drawing from his corporate experience, he emphasized that long-term career success depends not only on technical expertise but also on the ability to embrace change, develop problem-solving skills, and continuously upskill in a rapidly evolving business environment.
A highlight of the evening was the alumni interaction session, where professionals from organizations including JP Morgan, Accenture, IBM, Cognizant, Dell, and Axis Bank shared their career journeys and practical advice for aspiring professionals. The event also marked the appointment of Mr. Mahesh Patra (MBA Batch of 2008) as Lead of the Hyderabad Alumni Chapter, reinforcing RCM’s commitment to strengthening its 17,000+ global alumni network. More than a reunion, the Hyderabad Alumni Meet 2026 reflected the lasting impact of the RCM community in fostering mentorship, collaboration, professional growth, and lifelong connections across industries.

Alumni meets are often dismissed as purely nostalgic events, but the Hyderabad Alumni Meet 2026 demonstrates why they matter strategically for both institutions and students. For RCM, the event served as a direct feedback loop — alumni working inside major corporations shared real-time insight into hiring expectations, skill gaps, and industry direction, all of which feed back into curriculum design. For current and prospective students, it signals that a business school’s value doesn’t end at graduation; it compounds through an active, engaged alumni community offering mentorship, referrals, and industry access decades later. For alumni themselves, chapters like the newly formalized Hyderabad chapter create a structured way to stay connected, give back, and benefit from a growing professional network.
Vivek Vidyarthi's address centered on how leadership expectations have shifted with technological disruption, urging professionals to prioritize adaptability over static expertise.
Multiple speakers emphasized that closing the gap between classroom learning and workplace demands requires ongoing, active partnership — not one-off guest lectures.
Alumni pointed to the shift from manual processes to automation and AI-driven workflows across IT services, banking, and consulting.
Alumni with 15–25+ year careers shared how moving across companies — from IT services firms to global banks — required continual reskilling rather than reliance on their original degree alone.
