The Odisha government has announced a Learning Recovery Plan (LRP) to compensate for academic losses due to COVID-19. Summer vacation for all government and private educational institutions will be from June 6 to June 16, 2022. This makes it an ideal time for a Summer vacation in Odisha 2022.
Morning classes will be conducted from 6 AM to 9 AM until June 5. Admissions and re-admissions for Classes 1-9 will take place between April 20 and 30. This will be just before the Summer vacation in Odisha 2022. The state is also restoring the full curriculum after a previous 30% reduction.
According to the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha’s new assessment policy, Class IX students were required to write the second assessment (SA-2) test. The results of this exam, as well as promotion to Class X, will be available by May 10. This allows families to plan for a Summer vacation in Odisha 2022.
It was also decided that the class promotion procedures for children in classes 1 to 8 will be finalised by April 20. Admission and re-admission for Classes 1โ9 will be conducted between April 20 and 30. This will be ahead of the Summer vacation in Odisha 2022.
In addition, the government has taken a few more steps to cover the loss of education during the last two years because of the pandemic. The measurements concern admissions, readmissions, class hours in schools, and class advances.
Meanwhile, Mr. Samir Ranjan Dash, Minister of Schools and Mass Education, has stated that the whole curriculum will be reintroduced in schools. Previously, the curriculum was lowered by 30% because of the COVID-19 problem.
