The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 2025 at the iconic Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, Odisha, was a grand spectacle of cricket and entertainment. Known for blending the glamour of Bollywood celebrities with the thrill of cricket matches, this season saw a special addition—Regional College of Management (RCM), one of the best management colleges in Bhubaneswar, made its mark in the sporting arena as a dedicated team of RCM Victors Club volunteers stepped in to manage the event.
RCM Victors Club: Taking Leadership Beyond the Classroom
With a passion for cricket and entertainment, 50 student volunteers, mostly from the Victors Club, played a crucial role in managing the teeming crowd and ensuring a seamless experience for both spectators and players. Their responsibilities included handling players’ pavilion entry, celebrity hospitality, and crowd coordination in the spectator’s gallery.
The newly elected Victors Club President, Pritam Kumar Mohapatra, expressed his excitement, stating, “It’s a proud moment for RCM students to be a part of such a mega event. This opportunity showcased not just our love for sports but also our ability to manage and lead at a global sporting stage.”
A Day of Thrilling Cricket Matches & Bollywood Stars
The stadium witnessed two electrifying cricket matches that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The match schedule for the day was as follows:
- Punjab De Sher vs. Bhojpuri Dabanggs | Time: 2 PM – 6 PM
- Mumbai Heroes vs. Bengal Tigers | Time: 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM
The event was inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at 2 PM, with Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Parvati Parida attending the prize distribution ceremony at 10 PM.
