Anti-Ragging Cell

Constitution of Anti-Ragging Cell

To ensure a ragging-free atmosphere on campus, RCM has established an Anti-Ragging Cell, which consists of both a supervisory and advisory committee. These bodies are responsible for the continuous supervision, monitoring, and prevention of ragging incidents in the institution.

Provision of AICTE Regulation:

In accordance with the AICTE regulation (No. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 dated 01.07.2009), the Regional College of Management (RCM) is committed to eliminating ragging and ensuring a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment on its campus. The college has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and has taken significant steps to enforce the regulation to prevent and prohibit ragging in all forms. The following details outline the structure, objectives, and actions undertaken by the institution to safeguard its students.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Cell

The core objectives of the Anti-Ragging Cell are:

Supreme Court Directives and UGC Regulations

As per the Supreme Court’s directives and the UGC amendment dated 29th June 2016, any form of physical or mental abuse based on race, caste, gender, religion, or sexual orientation constitutes ragging. RCM strictly adheres to these regulations and has implemented punitive measures for those found guilty of such acts.
