Discussions on issues affecting higher education celebrate the 28th Foundation Day at Bharati Vidyapeeth, which is considered to be a university.
In his remarks at the 28th Foundation Day celebration of Bharati Vidyapeeth, deemed to be University on Wednesday, Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), discussed the difficulties encountered by universities in a world that is changing quickly.
Dr. Jere and State Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil gave lifetime achievement awards to Senior Social Worker Shantilal Muttha and Senior Historian Dr. Jayasingrao Pawar during the ceremony.
Dr. Jere emphasised the necessity for universities to be ready for the significant changes in employment that will occur in the future. He emphasised the value of lifelong learning and staying current with industry advancements. Dr. Asmita Jagatap of Bharati Vidyapeeth, which is also known as the University of Bharati Hospital, was one of the other speakers at the occasion.
While Dr. Jaysingrao Pawar saw his lifetime achievement award as a celebration of the ideas of Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj and Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil, Shantilal Muttha proposed the introduction of value-added education initiatives in Bharati Vidyapeeth schools.
Dr. Vivek Saoji provided the opening remarks, and G Jayakumar offered the closing remark.
