The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys and question papers with recorded responses for the answer key challenge for Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III of the UGC NET for December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles).
The UGC NET was conducted in four phases using a computer-based test (CBT) format between December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles).
The Provisional Answer Key(s) and the Question Paper with Recorded Responses have been released by the National Testing Agency to the website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ for candidates to contest, according to the NTA.
As per the NTA, candidates who are unhappy with the answer key may challenge it by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 for each question they object to.
While Phase 1, 2, and 3 examination answer keys can be challenged from October 18, 2022 (up until 5 p.m.), the deadline for payment is October 20, 2022. (upto 11:50pm).
The payment of the processing fee is due up until October 20, 2022. Users can use a debit card, credit card, net banking, or paytm to pay the processing fee (up to 05:00 P.M.). No challenge will be considered if the processing fee has not been received. No other method of submission will be permitted for the Challenges.
“Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the answer key will be revised and applied to all the candidates’ responses accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance or non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalised by the experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after October 20, 2022 (up to 5pm),” the NTA said.
In due course, the NTA will publish the Public Notice inviting Answer Key challenges for Phase IV of the merged December 2021 and June 2022 cycles of the UGC NET.
