According to UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release CUET-UG results by September 15.
Kumar also told to ANI that the CUET-UG results could be released on September 15 or perhaps a few days earlier. “All participating Universities should keep their web portals ready to start the UG admission process based on CUET-UG score,” he added.
The first edition of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate was affected by various difficulties that resulted in exam cancellations. Such issues in the country’s second-largest admission exam left hopefuls concerned and struggling.
The UGC Chief, however, told PTI that the issues will not hamper the exam’s development ambitions, which include a proposal to merge it with JEE and NEET and hold the exam twice a year.
In March, the UGC chairman declared that undergraduate admissions in all central universities would be conducted using a common entrance test rather than on the basis of class 12 grades.
