In honor of Indian soldiers who were martyred during the recent Pulwama Attack by terrorists in Kashmir, the students and faculty of RCM organized the Candle March on 18th February 2019. The march began from the college premises to Janata Maidan. Students and faculty members from all departments BBA, BCA, MBC, PGDM, and MFC, participated in the March.
The candle march was a show of solidarity with our soldiers who brave the hazards of War, terrorism, and natural disasters to give safety and freedom to the countrymen. Such efforts go a long way in creating awareness among students and arouse a sense of national pride in them. 14th February 2019 was a Black Day for Indians. This was a cowardly attack by terrorists where 44 Indian soldiers were killed.
It was heartening to see participance of students and faculty of the entire college in the Candle March initiated by students of BBA and at the behest of Chairman RCM, Dr Prabir Pal, Principal Professor Doctor P.R. Majhi and Professor Nitu Dash.
