Scamsters revealed and unmasked for website cloning and monetary fraud

It has come to the notice of the administration department of Regional College of Management (RCM), Bhubaneswar, Odisha that a fraudulent website by the domain name of “http://rcmindia.org.in” has been created on 04th June’ 2021. The fraudulent website clearly mentions the name of the college as “Regional College of Management, Bhubaneswar” and the address used by the website is similar to the original college’s address (GD-2/12 and 2/13, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar-751023, Odisha) registered under the domain of GoDaddy.com, LLC with a domain registration ID  being D79369644FBD74593B962CE3DF78F0BC3-IN. On browsing through this fraudulent website, it is further discovered that the details, information, courses, campus details, core values, faculty profiles etc are copied or cloned data of the original website and institution.

We believe the fraudulent website has been run by accused persons namely Priti Ranjan Majhi, Gopi Krushna Panda, Nitu Dash, and other unknown people (rank outsiders). People named herein were the ex-employees and suspended/resigned from the Institution due to their fraudulent practices, vandalism, foul play and acts of money laundering for their own personal gains. The admissions for the different courses offered by the institution are ongoing and such fraudulent websites not only sabotaged the reputation of RCM College but also caused severe financial losses and a drastic drop in the number of incoming students in the present academic year for admission.

They have used the same domain name to create fake email IDs in the name of Principal, HOD, etc. and circulating emails to existing students trying to siphon off academic fees from students in false accounts. The accused ones are thereby cheating innocent students of their future ahead.

We eagerly request everyone neither to entertain this fake website nor to get in touch with scamsters.
