The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) commenced on Monday. The OJEE Board administers the test for admission to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate engineering, pharmacy, management, and other undergraduate and postgraduate programs provided by colleges and universities in the state of Odisha. Over the course of the following few days, the exam will be given in various shifts.
Ongoing until May 15, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE)-2023 began on Monday. This year, 55,979 candidates may take the OJEE-2023 computer-based test (CBT) at one of 47 testing locations, three of which are located outside of the state.
Three shifts of the test for lateral admission into BTech or LE Tech (Diploma) were held on Monday. On May 9, tests were conducted for MCA/MSc (computer science) in the first two shifts and for MTech (11 courses), M Arch, M Plan, M Pharm, and BCAT in the third shift.

Before entering the examination hall, the candidates were asked to deposit their mobile phones at the entrance and remove all that they were wearing, like earrings, chains, watches, bracelets, and belts. They entered the examination hall only with admit cards, photos, and Aadhaar cards.
