Subodh Kumar Singh is the current additional secretary for the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution’s Department of Food and Public Distribution.
Following a Center-led reorganisation of the bureaucracy, Subodh Kumar Singh, an IAS officer from the Chhatisgarh cadre and a member of the 1997 batch, has been named the Director General (DG) of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
According to a PTI report, Singh has been named the director general of the NTA. Singh is currently the additional secretary in the Department of Food and Public Distribution. This department is within the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
The authorities released the order on Sunday night, replacing Singh and transferring him to the Department of Food and Public Distribution. Richa Sharma, assistant secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, took his place.
The Department of School Education and Literacy has elevated Vipin Kumar, who currently serves as joint secretary. He will move to the position of additional secretary.
In the Department of Higher Education within the Ministry of Education, Sunil Kumar Barnwal will hold the additional secretary position. He is currently joint secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
