For the academic year 2023–2024, the NCET 2023 will be held for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) at a number of Central and State Universities and Institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun accepting applications online for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2023.
For the academic year 2023–2024, the NCET 2023 will be held for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) at a number of Central and State Universities and Institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges.
For the Academic Session 2023–2024, the test will be administered in 178 cities and 13 mediums throughout India using a computer-based test (CBT). The deadline to submit an online application is July 19, 2023.
Medium of Examination
The NCET 2023 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Scheme of Examination
Section 1 (Languages): There are 33 different languages. Any two languages need to be chosen. There will be 20 questions in Language 1 and Language 2 separately. All questions will be compulsory.
Section 2 (Domain-Specific Subjects): There are 26 domain-specific subjects being offered under this section. A candidate may choose any three subjects. Each domain-specific subject will have 25 questions. All questions will be compulsory.
Section 3 (General Test): This is a mandatory part. The general test will have 25 questions. All questions will be compulsory.
Section 4 (Teaching Aptitude): This is a mandatory part. Teaching Aptitude will have 20 questions. All questions will be compulsory.
