Candidates can now submit their JEE Main Application Form for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2023 Session 1 through the National Testing Agency (NTA).
NTA will conduct JEE (Main) 2023 in two sessions for the academic year 2023โ2024: Session 1 in January 2023 and Session 2 in April 2023.
Important Dates for JEE Main 2023 Application
According to the NTA’s published deadlines, candidates have from December 15, 2022, to January 12, 2023, to submit their online applications. They can do so via www.nta.ac.in and www.jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B/Tech) is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes (B.E./B. Tech) at NITs, IITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs). It also includes institutions and universities funded/recognized by participating state governments.
Additionally, candidates must qualify in JEE Main to appear for the JEE Advanced exam, which grants admission to IITs. Paper 2 enables students to secure admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses across the country
According to the NTA, the JEE (Main) 2023 exam will be conducted in 13 languages. These include English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
“In the first session of JEE (Main)โ2023, only session 1 will be visible, and candidates can opt for that. In the next session, Session 2 will be visible, and the candidates can opt for that session. “The application window for Session 2 will be reopened as per the details available in the information bulletin. This will also be notified separately through a public notice,” the NTA said.

- Online Submission of Application Form-15 December 2022 to 12 January 2022
- Last DATE OF successful Transaction of Fee- 12 January 2023 (Up to 11:50 P.M.)
- Announcement of the City of Examination- Second week of January 2023
- Downloading of Admit Cards from the NTA website-Third week of the January 2023
- Date of Examination -24,25,27,28,29,30 and 31 January 2023
