STUDENT EXPOSURE
As a part of the RCM Industrial Exposure Program, students of PGDM and MBA 1st year (2018-20) visited Malaysia on 27th February – 3rd March 2019. Students went to visit several Malaysian Industries to get more practical knowledge about the industries abroad that operate, produce, and export products globally.
The Berly’s Chocolate Industry specializes in manufacturing chocolates and candies. The Royal Selangor, is a toy manufacturing company known for its unique products like dolls, artefacts, decorative household items, and miniature-crafted items. Students got an understanding of production, manufacturing, and marketing strategies in these industries.
They also went on guided tours to cities like Kuala Lumpur Penang and Genting Highland. Professor Dr. Partha Pritam Ghosh and Professor Biswajeet Rout of RCM accompanied the students on the tour; a unique learning experience both for them and the students.
INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY VISIT BY BBA STUDENTS
BBA students went on an industrial visit to Malaysia from 25th March – 29th March 2019. They visited theBerly’s Chocolate Kingdom situated in Kuala Lumpur – the place for chocolate lovers. Students were introduced to innovative techniques for making chocolate.
They also went for sightseeing to places like Batu Caves, Twin Towers, KL Tower, Sunway Lagoon, etc. to get a feel of Malaysian Urban culture. Professor Nitu Dash (Head BBA) with Assistant Professor Lopamudra Pattnayak accompanied the students on the tour; a great learning experience for all.
