The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced serves as the admission test for several undergraduate programs at IITs. These institutions offer admission to programs leading to a Bachelor’s, Integrated Masterโs, or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Architecture through JEE (Advanced). Candidates in dual degree programs receive both a Bachelorโs and a Masterโs degree after they successfully complete the course requirements.
Students enrolling in the 4-year bachelorโs degree programme at some IITs have certain options. They have the option of pursuing B.Tech. (Honors) and/or B.Tech. with Minors. Students pursuing a dual degree may also pursue a minor. However, in some IITs, B.Tech. students have the option of pursuing an Interdisciplinary Dual Degree. They can obtain a bachelorโs degree in one department and a masterโs degree in another.
