The OJEE Board will begin the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) on May 8, 2023. They conduct the exam to offer admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, management, and other fields at colleges and universities across Odisha. The board will hold the exam in multiple shifts over the next few days.
The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE)-2023, which started on Monday, will continue till May 15. As many as 55,979 candidates will appear for the OJEE-2023 this year through computer-based testing (CBT) mode at 47 test centers, including three in outside states.
On Monday, the OJEE Board conducted the test for lateral entry into BTech or LE Tech (Diploma) in three shifts. On May 9, they held the examinations for MCA/MSc (Computer Science) in the first two shifts, while the third shift featured tests for MTech (11 subjects), M Arch, M Plan, M Pharm, and BCAT.
Date May 11, the board will conduct MBA tests in two shifts, and they will organize exams for LE Tech (BSc) and BCAT (Film Editing) in the final shift. On May 12, students will take the B Pharm exam across all three shifts. On May 15, candidates will appear for LE Tech (Diploma), integrated MBA, and LE Pharm.
Before entering the examination hall, the authorities asked candidates to deposit their mobile phones at the entrance. They also instructed them to remove all accessories, including earrings, chains, watches, bracelets, and belts. Candidates entered the examination hall carrying only their admit cards, photographs, and Aadhaar cards.
