Bid 2 Win Auction Strategy
BID2WIN is a dynamic business strategy competition where teams build and manage a virtual investment portfolio. In Round 1, teams participate in a live company auction using a fixed virtual wallet to acquire companies through strategic bidding. In Round 2, teams enter a fast-paced trading phase where they can negotiate, buy, sell, or exchange companies to optimize their portfolio.
After trading, market news events impact company valuations, and the team with the highest final portfolio value emerges as the winner.
Rules & Regulations Follow the rules, steal the spotlight.
- Teams must consist of 2–3 registered members.
- Each team will receive a virtual wallet to participate in the company auction and trading rounds.
- In Round 1 (Company Auction), teams must bid strategically to acquire companies without exceeding their wallet balance.
- Each team can acquire a maximum of 2 companies during the auction round.
- In Round 2 (Market Dynamics), teams may buy, sell, or exchange companies with other teams during the trading window.
- All trades must be reported to and recorded by the event coordinators to be considered valid.
- Market news events may affect company valuations after the trading round.
- The final score is calculated based on remaining cash and updated company valuations.
- The team with the highest final portfolio value at the end of the event will be declared the winner.
- Maximum 30 teams will be allowed to participate on a first-come, first-serve basis.
