Odisha, formerly known as Utkala/Kalinga is known for its ancient voyages to far off lands such as Java, Sumatra, Borneo, Indonesia, Bali, on wooden Ships called (Boitas), sailing across the oceans to trade in spices, silk, and artefacts in exchange for gold and others commercial goods .The journey was tough and long but resulted in massive gains . Odisha still does fabulous trading in various sectors and women (the then Sadhava Bohus) are the new gen entrepreneurs taking massive leap and lead in national and international business league .
The event showcased the spirit of Odisha’s entrepreneurial legacy, with women entrepreneurs taking the lead and students of RCM stepping up to guide and support their journey. The boat of trade has already sailed, marking a new chapter of success. Bon Voyage to the achievements that lie ahead!
