ABOUT Regional College of management

Started in the year 1982, Regional College of Management (RCM) was established with the sole purpose to provide the students with a beacon. From the first year of our establishment itself, we were radical in our approach, curriculum, and people.

This tradition of active expedient factor is articulated in our motto “Passion for Innovative Education”. As well as, innovative work, and impactful engagement of faculty, students, and staff.

OBJECTIVE

The programmes under the School of Business Studies are designed to enable students to:

  • Highly skilled placement cell securing more than 90% placement. Thousands of z, have got on-campus placements and about 600 students have been placed before completion of the degree.
  • Top Scholars have to go through one personal interview round, group discussion and written examination depending on the courses taken on their previous courses, and then the evaluation process takes place for shortlisting the best student. Thus, only 15% students get selected.

OVERVIEW

RCM offers a number of excellent scholarship schemes to meritorious and worthy students at the time of admission. It offers highly beneficial scholarships per annum to students seeking admission to PGDM, MBA,MCA programmes through OJEE Exam. To avail the scholarship, an applicant is required to take the scholarship exam that consists of a personal interview, written test and group discussion. Candidates seeking admission to the BBA and BCA programmes can also avail various scholarships. These scholarships are offered based on the candidate’s performance in the class 12th exam.

Right to Education is one of the Fundamental rights of every Indian citizen.

The Regional College of Management, Bhubaneswar believes that money should not be a road block for a student with innovative ideas in his mind and passion in his heart. We extend scholarships and financial assistance to meritorious students based on their academic achievements.

A number of scholarships are offered to students depending on the academic credentials and their achievement in sporting and cultural arena. The university grants full to partial wavier on tuition fees payable by the students.

Eligibility Criteria:

All candidates who meet the eligibility Criteria for a Scholarship Program must hold the OJEE Rank to pursue their higher education can apply for the our Scholarship Programmes. Based on the OJEE Rank and student merit list will be allowed to avail the scholarships as per the criteria of the Institution.

Note:

  • The number of scholarships in subsequent year shall be as per scholarships contribution policy 2023-24.
  • The academic performance of a student shall be the sole criteria for the contribution of the scholarship. Scholarships starting from the highest slab shall be granted based on the position in the merit list prepared School wise.
  • Scholarship will be awarded on Tuition Fees only. (Foreign Tour or any other charges shall not be included)
In general, there are no application deadlines to meet however, completed applications should then be submitted at least time prior to the desired start date of the scholarship.
Suitable short-notice applications may be approved depending on the availability of resources and possible dates.
Essentially, applications for the current calendar year may be submitted and approved throughout the year. It is possible to submit an application for an extension prior to the termination of the scholarship.
Applications for an extension should be coordinated in advance with the individual tutor and /or the advisor. The granting of an application for an extension depends on the quality and progress of the work to date.
The electronic application form needs to be completed similar to that of a new application. Please select “Continuation Application” on the first page of the application form. Documentation which has already been submitted with the initial application (e.g. letters of recommendation, diplomas, etc.) should be referred to where appropriate.
You can apply for one scholarship for the very same year of its availability.
If a required question does not apply o you, simply type in N/A for not applicable and proceed to the next question. Do not leave any required questions blank, as that will prevent you from proceeding with the application.
You must make the selection based on your personal eligibility. You must check the eligibility criteria: this will show you can apply for.
Only students who meet the eligibility criteria can be considered.
You will be notified of the outcome of your application by email.
