Students of RCM participated in the AIDS Awareness Campaign organized on 1st December 2018. The World AIDS Day dedicated to raising awareness on the AIDS Pandemic caused by the spread of HIV, a sexually transmitted disease, as well as mourning the loss of life by those suffering from this dreaded disease.
Students from different institutions, doctors, engineers, and people from different factors participated in this Rally which started from Ekamra Haat and ended near IDCOL House. Participation of youngsters in such awareness programs is a message sent to the public that people should be aware of the consequences of leading a careless life that becomes life-threatening to not only the person concerned but to others around them to whom the disease is transmitted through various means. The only cure for this deadly disease can come about through an effort to raise awareness among all so that a little precaution can save thousands of lives.
