About Event ICNGM:


The International Conference on “Next Generation Management: Issues & Challenges” (ICNGM) at Regional College of Management, Bhubaneswar, aims at bringing together the international forum for raising rich discussion on the Next Generation research themes and to enrich knowledge and skills in these emerging areas. The intention is to contemplate on developing new visions and business perspectives to match with the changing priorities of industries in the emerging markets. Furtherit intended to aid researchers, academicians, educators and management practitioners to interact and mutually benefit from the respective expertise. To a large extent the conference has achieved its objective.


In this International Conference, we have received participation of from all leading institutes of India including IIMs, XLRI, NarsiMorjee, Nirma University, XIMB, ICFAI, Hyderabad, and various central universities and state universities. We have received immense response for the conference with 142 research papers from academicians, practitioners and researchers from various institutes of India. We have accepted only 67 research articles for the conference through expert review. The Conference had six tracks namely, Next Generation issues in HR, Marketing, Finance IT & operations and General Management, each session is chaired by eminent academicians or industry experts in the respective field. The conference not only became a forum for functional areas specific issues and practices but also provides opportunities multidisciplinary research based managerial solutions to contemporary issues.


We hope the deliberations, the interactions and the exchange of the knowledge and the facilitating of collaboration amongst the participants would be highly beneficial. It’s our privilege to welcome participants to the International Conference on behalf of the organizing committee.


The ICNGM intends to form a school where young researchers will have scope to learn how to chair a technical session and are coached how to edit a publishable contribution including plagiarism check. The ICNGM will also encourage the researchers who have been awarded for their Ph.D /M.Phil /Dissertation/Project work within last 5 years to submit a copy of their report with validity certificate so that it can be considered for ICNGM for the award for excellence in their work.

I am extremely happy to extend a warm welcome to the delegates of the International Conference on Next Generation Management : Issues & Challenges (ICNGM). This conference is being organized by Regional College of Management, Bhubaneswar in collaboration with IED, Odisha and Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), Government of India, Bhubaneswar.


It is a matter of pride for me to say that we have, in the past, organized a number of national and international conferences in our campus. The International Conference is now into its 12th edition. The previous editions of the conference received highly encouraging responses in terms of participation and papers by research scholars from various Universities and Business Schools across the country and abroad. This year too, the conference organizers have received an excellent response from reputed Business Schools, Universities and Research Institutes in India and abroad. I hope that the diverse topics covered in the conference will help the academicians, researchers, PhD scholars and students gain exposure to contemporary developments in various fields of business & functional areas of research.


I am confident that this will provide exposure to academicians, researchers to new developments in the various field of management; particularly those are pursuing doctoral work and have scope to identify areas of research to be carried out in the years ahead. This conference, as in the past, will hopefully provide an intellectually stimulating experience for budding researchers, where the deliberations provide new insights into research and implementation in business practices.

I am very glad to learn that the Regional College of Management, Bhubaneswar, the first management college in Odisha is going to organize a Mega event during March 15-16, 2019, viz. an International Conference on Next Generation Management: Issues and Challenges. A step towards globalization of Indian education through student exchange, co-operative research & projects.


Date: 28th of April 2011


Regional College of Management Autonomous has become the 1st MCA college of the state to sign a MOU with University of applied Sciences (Bandenburg) Germany as first step towards Globalization of its MCA program.


Through this agreement students of both the University pursuing their studies in Master of Computer Application at RCM and/or Business Computing in TH-W can visit the partner institution during the last year their studies and do final master project work.


Faculty and researches of both the institution would undertake scientific and research projects and also participate in academic programs through two way exchange of faculty.


Prof. Dr. Laszlo Ungvari the president signed on behalf of the UAS-TH Wildau and Prof. Dr. Prabir Pal, Director RCM was the other party to sign the Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of Prof. Dr. Jorg Peter, Vice President TH-W, Prof. Dr. Tolkeihn TH-W & Prof. L. N. D. Panda of RCM(A) at Wildau, Germany on Thursday the 28th of April 2011.
