Academic Regulations


  • An applicant applying for the MFC course at the Regional College of Management, must acquaint herself/himself with certain rules and regulations that the institute adheres to.
  • Academic activities in an academic year are regulated by an academic calendar approved by the Director of the Institute. It is mandatory for both students and faculty to strictly follow the academic calendar. Any deviation from the same is strictly monitored directly by the Office of the Director.


Duration


  • Two Year Full-Time Program (Approved by Government of Odisha. Affiliated to Utkal University)
  • RCM offers a two-year full time degree program on Finance and Control, on successful completion of which, the candidates are conferred with Master of Finance and Control degree.
  • Each year shall be divided into four semesters. With first two semesters having a keen focus on the basics of finance and accounting, the latter two semesters are designed with a vision to provide MFC students with industry exposure required to deal with market statistics.
  • This program is highly prestigious and is rated as one of the most sought after discipline nationwide. The alumni of this program currently occupy highly reputable positions in various banking institutions, finance and accounting firms, and banks in India and abroad.



Eligibility Criteria


  • The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to Master of Finance and Control is at least 3-year Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in Arts/ Science/ Commerce with a passing aggregate of 50% for general and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree may also apply, provided, they furnish the proof of pursuing graduation (Mark sheets till final semester).
  • The eligibility for admission to MFC Program of the Institute shall be same as the one revised by Utkal University from time to time.
  • At the beginning of each semester, a student has to register for the subjects that he/she wishes to study. A student will be allowed to attend classes and appear for examinations after proper registration only.
  • Admission shall ordinarily close prior to the commencement of the instruction in First Semester.

  • Eligibility for Admission into 2nd Year


  • A candidate is eligible for registration into the 2nd year provided he/she has registered and appeared for all the papers in the Mid-term & End Term tests in the first year and has secured a minimum CGPA of 5.


Admission


Admission to the MFC course shall be done on first cum first serve basis which is subjected to fulfillment of aforesaid criteria.

  • A candidate can also collect the ‘Admission Form’ from the Institute’s Admission Cell Counter.

Documents Required for Admission Procedure


  • Candidates are required to submit the following set of documents along with the duly filled Application Form.
  • College Leaving Certificate (CLC) / School Leaving Certificate (SLC) and Conduct Certificate in original from the Institution last attended.
  • Xerox copies of all Certificates and Mark sheets.
  • Caste Certificate for SC/ST candidates in original.
  • Migration Certificate.
  • 3-Passport Size Photographs and 2 Stamp size Photographs
  • Original Certificates and Mark sheets of all examinations are essential for verification.

Note : The final year graduating students are required to submit the Class10th, 12th mark sheet, certificate and photograph with an undertaking to submit the degree mark sheet and certificate on or before the onset of first trimester.

The selected candidates will be called in for completion of admission procedure.
